To get the most out of the course, before attending please
- Review the links to speeches websites and listen to some of the great speeches.
- Then think back to speeches or presentations that you have enjoyed or remember for some reason and make a note of them.
- To provide contrast and to remind us all how we have a responsibility to our audiences, list any terrible speaking experiences that you have had, the abuse of computer generated presentations used to bore an audience and those vindictive speakers who insist on deliver long rambling monologues...
- Finally, it would help if you could bring a real example of a speech that you will need to deliver or would like to deliver.
