The Perfect Speech is run as an interactive, fun and experiential learning event. We kick off with some basic creativity exercises, to remind everyone that all are creative. We spend some time then reviewing the great speeches of history, surf the web a little to read and hear great historical speakers and then take some recent speeches and deconstruct them.
This should put everyone in a good frame of mind to look in a fun way at some of the theory of oratory and how it can be applied to our business speeches, presentations and impromptu talks.
The core of the course is the study of the "devices" and the afternoon is spent in a hilarious, challenging and very rewarding competition to produce, deliver and take the applause for "The Perfect Speech".
